About Me

I was born and raised in rural New Zealand in a small North Island town called Dannevirke. I'm a farmer’s daughter who loved the outdoor lifestyle and always had a head for numbers.
On leaving school I joined the local Bank of New South Wales and worked as a teller before heading to Australia on my OE. After working for a couple of years in Sydney I did a stint back in New Zealand on a farm in the South Island while raising a family. I later purchased a dairy farm and engineering business in Southern Hawkes Bay, while again working back in banking - with ANZ this time. Banking was in my blood and once my boys were old enough, I enrolled at Massey University, graduating with a Business Degree - Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Finance. I immediately followed this up by completing a Graduate Diploma in Personal Financial Planning.
I returned to the workforce at the ANZ in Wellington and by the time I left corporate banking in 2012 I had worked as a Personal Banker and Business Manager.
In 2012, attracted by the Bay of Plenty lifestyle and with an ambition to establish my own banking-related business where I could make a real difference to the lives and futures of my clients, I settled in Tauranga.
I started out working with a local mortgages and finance firm, as a credit analyst and then broker before setting up on my own in 2013 with Loan Market. I have gone on to build a loyal following of clients and have enjoyed the rewarding role of helping people into their own home.
Being entrusted with people’s private financial affairs and their plans – large or small - is a privilege that I have never underestimated. Six years on, I love to accompany my clients on the journey and I get immense pleasure from guiding them as we negotiate the process together.
In my spare time I love to explore my adopted region on my bike, walk at the Mount, spend time with my family and (yet again!) I am renovating a home.
